Biography

Ozzie Goldschmied has served as Udemy’s Chief Technology Officer since June 2025. Goldschmied brings nearly 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Before joining Udemy, beginning in 2022, he served as the founder and CEO at GoldenRock Inc., where he consulted with private equity, hedge fund, and venture capital clients to evaluate company products, engineering, and technical maturity. From 2012 until 2022, Ozzie served as CTO of Ceridian HCM Holdings, Inc. (“Ceridian”), where he led a global team of over 1,200 employees in Research and Development and Product Management functions. In 2009, Ozzie co-founded Dayforce and served as Head of Engineering, spearheading the creation of its human capital management platform until its acquisition by Ceridian in 2012. Before Dayforce, Ozzie held various technology leadership positions at Infor Global Solutions, Workbrain, and Sybase. He has a Bachelor of Mathematics in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
